PostSubject: Imaginarium:: Second Floor ~ Interior   Tue May 24, 2011 7:26 pm

The second floor of Imaginarium is much like the first. Enchantments from the first floor carry on to the second. If the decorative overlay enchantment is dispersed one will find this level very library like, with only the very front appearing to act like a sunroom. This is because of the genres located here and their higher sensitivity to heat and light.

The spiral staircase one took to get here may lead upward to Alan's attic-loft, back down to the first floor, and/or the basement reading lounge. Falkor's inherent lectern is up here, though one can request the Mushu personality if desired. Other standard lecterns are here as well, but like on the first floor they are fewer than what you will find at the reading lounge.

Genres You Will Find:

Education - A general mix of magical and muggle books used for the purpose of academics or other educational purposes. Text books, workbooks, answer books, test packets, and the like can be found here. These books are parallel to the spiral staircase.

News Archives - Kept away from windows as well as excessive heat or light, the News Archives detail both magical and muggle news events. These are what make Imaginarium part library in particular, as these items are not for sale. However, you can request copies of newspapers that can be made for sale, and Alan will do what he can to accommodate.

Non Fiction - Antiques, Art, Autobiography/Biography/Memoir, Creative Nonfiction, Diaries/Journals, Essays, Fables/Folklore, History, Letters, Music, Philosophy, Price Guides, Religion, and more.
