Personality:
A glowing coal just waiting for a flame would pretty much sum up Taryn's personality. Friendly and eager to be nice to everyone; she hates people being mean and has difficulty controlling herself when egged on. Too impatient to learn well, Taryn just gets by when it comes to education. She enjoys sports and action as opposed to reading and writing. Her often repeated phrase on school is that she 'read a book once... and it stunk'. Stubborn as one could get, she won't be forced to do anything she doesn't want to. This can be useful as peer pressure washed over her without force; and yet her professors are often applying detention for her refusal to cooperate.

Born as the only child to Geoffrey and Bathilde Mochrie, Taryn grew up surrounded by the potions of her father and the busy schedules of her mother. Although, her parents devoted a great deal of their time to her, she enjoyed spending more time with the friends she made in muggle elementary school than her parents. Her great-grand mother spoilt her horribly with any magical or muggle pet she wanted. Thankfully, she was not allowed to take any of her unusual pets to Hogwarts.

Personality: Ella can be best described as a miniature version of her Aunt Berlynn. Being the first granddaughter Ella was particularly spoiled rotten by parents and grandparents alike, especially by her grandmother who to this day still continues to pamper and baby Ella. This life-long pampering had both positive and negative repercussions upon the teen for although she has a strong sense of love and kinship towards her family, she is also a bit reckless in her behavior due to her thought (as well as reality) that her family will always have her back and be there to bail her out in any trouble.

While Ella is no stranger to harm, prankster is the most appropriate description for the teen’s antics. Ella is a genuinely kindhearted person and makes friends very easily. The only times of friction between her and others (aside from figures of authority who Ella usually does not fare too well with) is if the other person does not agree or like Ella’s sense of humor. She is a firm believer in Carpe Diem so there is never a dull day with the young witch whether it be causing a school corridor to start raining candy, charming a shelf of the school library to transfigure into pygmy puffs upon contact, or even if it is something as simple as sticking a whoopee cushion on a teacher’s chair. Granted, there are many repercussions as seen with her rather chunky school files but the witch considers them all worth it, especially if she can bring a smile to at least one other’s face.

From an academic standpoint, Ella tends to be one of those students who could be quite brilliant if ever the right amount of effort is put into her schoolwork since the heart of her school issues is her iron refusal to do any homework. It is art, music, fashion, pranks, and boys that are the loves of Ella’s life. School is not even a passing fling other than being a base for all of Ella’s prank antics. As a result, her academics are rather low and she is often utilizing (albeit reluctantly) any extra credit available in order to achieve a passing grade in her subjects.

Personality: Sam is the youngest and only boy of 4 Children, he would sometimes concider this a curse, and yet could be a blessing. Is remarkably polite, or tires to be in front of girls, truth be told he is a little scared of them. Being the whim of his older sisters all his life, he knows what the can do when angry at you.. As a result he is nervous around any girl who talks to him. He is currently dating his first girlfriend Hailey Barren, although he is guilty about the relationship, as he likes someone else. yet is being a self proclaimed coward and is putting off the task of Breaking up with Hailey, she is a sweet girl, he didn't want to hurt her.. or feel her wrath for that matter.

Personality: Zidane is best classified as the kid in the corner who people tend to forget about. The reasons for this are two-fold. One, he typically has his nose within a book. Just as a Ravenclaw does Zidane enjoys knowledge immensely and devours books inside and out rapidly on a regular basis. In class, Zidane prefers the front row where he can absorb and and all knowledge that a Professor will give him. The second reason for Zidane's aloof-ness stems from the painfully shy aspect of his character. He is easily intimidated by other people, and it is evident by his stutter that appears in times of his terror. His confidence is low and he is afraid to approach people for fear of making himself look like an idiot.

However, despite his hardened, shy exterior, deep down Zidane is one of those wizards who still believe in manners and chivalry. When it comes to friends he will gladly give up his last Knut if it helps them any, and when it comes to those he cares about a backbone can form on him. It's merely a matter of time and patience for him to be able to open up to others and show the real Zidane.

Personality:
Jane Nott is a little more relaxed than her sister. She's more carefree. She's a bit of a tomboy, interested in Quidditch instead of clothes, though she enjoys the occasional dress here and there.

She is definitely Slytherin by nature. Though, arguably, that could have been because she was raised in a very Pureblood oriented family. And what that simply means is that, though she doesn't believe the Pureblood Puritans - she will not fight against them. A passive rebel if you will. Harmless generally, though is a constant head-ache to her 'well-meaning' mother.

She longs a change, but isn't brave enough to bring it about. All she can do, is make the best of what she has.

Lachina had a difficult time carrying Jane. Something the witch seemed to have held against her daughter. When Jane was born, Lachina seemed to be through with the whole 'mothering' deal and let the servants take care and nurse Jane. Lachina and Calendon were hoping for a son and Jane was meant to be him, when it was evident, she was a she, both Lachina and Calendon seemed to have lost interest in her.

They were never outrightly cruel to her, but she definitely wasn't the favourite. Her rather backwards and clumsy nature made her difficult for her parents to deal with especially because they had such an easy time with her older sister Joanna who seemed to be perfect in every way. Her parents never shied away from disciplining her - especially her mother. Despite this fact, Jane really did try to please her parents - something she never really seemed to grow out of.

It seemed like Jane was destined to despise her older sister, but Joanna always seemed to make it a point to be kind of Jane. This made Jane adore and idolize Joanna.

However, Jane was determined to find her own place in the world. Standing as Joanna's shadow never quite satisfied her, and any sort of rebellion against her over bearing mother soon became a priority.

This made her and Aunt Lilith fast friends and soon, Jane started to spend a lot of time with her Aunt and her cousin, Jericho. It was at the MacDougal's did Jane find her one true love: flying. Lachina did not approve Jane's favourite pass time and reproached her for it. Her mother had decided that flying was very unlady-like and that Jane's time was better spent else where. Jane learnt that in order to continue with flying, she had to keep it secret from her parents. This proved difficult as her love of flying eventually gave way to desire to play Quidditch and owing a broomstick of her own became a must. Luckily, she ended up inheriting Jericho's old broomsticks.

At Hogwarts, she was sorted into Slytherin. The Sorting Hat considered placing her in Ravenclaw but Jane had over-ruled it immediately.

Now, she's on her third year. Over the summer, Quidditch Tryouts were held (the Captain's ploy to win the cup) and she managed to earn a spot on the team. She liked to think that she did it all on her own, but she knew Jericho being the captain didn't exactly hurt her chances.

After all - family comes first.
