Personality:
Robin as he prefers to be called, is quiet at first glance but has in him a rebellious streak. Superficially, he seems like your typical nonchalant teenager. He does not usually make the first move in terms of a social situation and is usually quiet in class. Quiet, until that is, the Professor brings up a topic he feels is a bogus idea or if he’s is challenged in anyway. He is quick to anger and is very defensive. In addition, he is notorious for holding a grudge.

However, he is bold and confident. He has apparent disregard for authority and fights vigilantly for anything he believes in. He will stand by a friend till the end.
Innately intelligent, he can easily pull O marks without even trying. His intelligence is almost strictly logical and has difficulties grasping less-than-deductive means of magic such as Divination. Potions and Arthimancy come naturally to him. However, it seems as if his potential is ‘wasted’ by his lack of determination. He chooses not to apply himself academically. He has worked very hard to keep his academic achievements average. Doing only the bare minimum amount of work to pass. To him, school is just a landing platform and he longs for the day he will be able to fly off.

He is a natural flyer, and would easily be the best bet for a position for Quidditch if he had gone out for the team. However, in a very Robin-like manner he stopped the temptation. Ergo, he chooses to fly in secret instead. Flying is his unwavering passion.

Academics and Quidditch aside, Robin is a rather agreeable person (unless you are an authority) and he is a loyal friend that would go to the ends of the earth for a favour to one. He can be arrogant at times, and maybe even slightly close-minded but if you present a logical argument you will win him over.

He can be a very charming boy, slipping in a cheeky grin once in awhile that could tug on a lesser-guarded heart. He has the tendency to sulk on his own for long periods of time, although he does cherish company.

He's often times serious, but can crack a joke once in awhile. Sarcasm is his weapon of choice.




Your Story Please?
Robin was the only son born to the successful businessman Richard Rider and the beautiful Elizabeth Grayson. Elizabeth dotted on her son. She was a free spirit who was unfortunately born under a conventional pureblooded family. She held none of their beliefs but was powerless to fight for hers. She had no choice but to marry the pompous Richard Rider, her betrothed, the man her parents had chosen for her from birth. However, it seemed as if fate was kind to Elizabeth as Richard turned out to be more than the arrogant jerk she thought he was. She fell in love with her husband, and him with her. She had changed him. Her free spirit appealed to young Richard and though at first he was suspicious about the match, she had challenged him in ways that made him admire her and later, made him love her.

When Robin was born, both parents were joyous. Receiving pressure from his parents and his in-laws, Richard was insistent on raising Robin in an ‘enriching’ fashion and Elizabeth eventually agreed. However, once in awhile, she would talk her husband out of his silly schedule and would take Robin out for purely recreational activities. She would nightly read him bedtime stories, which Robin habitually looked forward to. His favourite story was that of a little Robin and begged his mother nightly to recount the tale frequently. So much in fact that she started to refer to him as her little Robin and thus his nickname was formed.

Disaster stuck when Robin was nine years old. Robin’s parents were murdered by none other than the psychopath, Lycurgus Blake. He has vowed to avenge his parents murder, whatever it took.
